    Hi

A friend of mine as Nod32 & ran a scan check. Nod32 found a virus/trojan in his Temp Internet files & highlighted the line in red. Does this mean that Nod32 has deleted the file/virus? I have never seen Nod32 let through a virus, so I can't tell him what happens during a scan detection.

Generally a red entry is for a detected threat. Usually when NOD32 deals with it the color changes to brown/orange but this will only happen automatically if cleaning was selected for the scan and will make use of the actions tab of the on-demand scanner to determine what action should be taken.

Just ask your friend to run an additional 'Scan & Clean' and see if it is still detected, If so then right click on the red entry and clean unless the actions tab settings have not already been set to do so.

Or just navigate to the file and manually detete it if it is not needed.

    Cheers :)
