Recovery Won't Install

Have installed TI 8 latest build. Switched from the other one. Am happy with most aspects of the application, however the onboard recovery mgr and the recovery cd won't install. Welcome screen appears, mouse cannot select. Used tab, and can only select true image. Other selections are not available.
When TI is selected, next screen shows ACRONIS loading please wait. Cursor blinks for about 10 seconds then freezes.Waited about 1 minute, then turned off machine. Also, I turned off the Execute Disable bit, and still no install. Any ideas? Belarc sytem info follows.
