Recommendation for file download site

Something like Megaupload. I'm thinking about getting rid of UTorrent and spending the money for more peace of mind/security. Which one gives the best bang for your buck? My main criteria is for movies.

You want a download site or an upload site?

Rapidshare, Megaupload, and the like don't cost a penny to download from, for anyone.
Mediafire and Megaupload don't require any wait between file downloads, either.

Any site you pay to join in order to eliminate between-file download waits is obviously applicable to that one site only, so you'll still encounter the wait at any others.

So it seems your question more regards uploading files. For that, you'd need to constrast/compare the TOS at the various sites to see which one most closely fits your individual needs, seems to me.

 

That may be so.
But since the vast majority of popular non-torrent file hosting sites are free of charge for anyone to download from, then I'd be unclear on why he/she is looking to spend money.

Actually there is if you download tons. I remember having to wait after downloading ~14 GB from Megaupload. Think it was less for Mediafire.

Looks generous like Megaupload, I'll add to list.
