Real time protection not working

    I have a system running ESS 4 which will not activate the real time file system protection.

    Can anyone shed light on a way to activate this facility

    Hello,

    In order to help troubleshoot this, more information would be helpful.

    What operating system (including service pack level) and build of ESET Smart Security are you running? Is this a fresh install of either, or did you upgrade from previous versions? Was another antivirus program previously installed? If so, what was it?
