RAV Antivirus - future?

    Any news what would heppend with RAV antivirus and Microsoft?

    Will they finnaly release a new product or RAV will die and make more market for Norton and McAfee?

    I'm not so sure, I though M$ was gonna release their own AV with the RAV engine, but no news on that for ages :(

    I believe it was gonna arrive at the end of 2005 or just before Longhorn is released....

    GeCad had commitments to release updats till sometime in 2007, if i remember correctly.

    However, what stylewarz said is correct.

    The Rav online scan is still operational . the last update was on 29 Mar 2005 . They or some one is still keeping it alive and functional.

    Then they must have a lot of Weekends apparently :D

    Sybari (now also MS) Antigen will use the RAV engine. Perhaps does so already.
