Hi, I have 2 questions about panda:
1.Does pav have identify protection? If not, why it also updates identify protection definitions?
2.why the detection rate of on-access scan (realtime protection)is much lower than on-demand scan?especially heuristic detections.
    Thanks.

Yes, it's a separate module which prevents personal information from being stolen. In has different functionality such as Malicious URL/Phishing blocking, blocking of certain personal information from travelling in the clear (credit card numbers, SSN, passwords, etc.), These definitions are updated very regularly, every hour or two.

Because the heuristic level is set different by default on the different scan types (on-access vs. on-demand). However you can simply change this under the Antivirus configuration and set the on-access heuristic to higher if you want to.

there seems to be no different levels in heuristic option, you can only choose to enable it or not.

You're right, we used to have it but took it off in this last version. You can still configure the URL blocking heuristic engine but not the on-access/on-demand one. This one is set by us by default.
