    :D
    Ahem..<cough>..
As perhaps the only remaining user of PrevX2 :D
    Just love that app control.

Wondering whether or not my PX2 is still connecting to the db when scanning.
( not even sure exactly what I mean  )

Reason I'm asking is that Px2 is flagging VMWare.exe and VMWare-Unity-Helper.exe as being 'unknown to the Central database'
    "Orange light" ..remember ;)

These are part of new install of VMWareWorkstation v7.1: unlikely these are not part of the db :cautious:

I've hit the notify button as safe several times : "under review" pops up.

Is my Px2 connected ?? or am I orphaned :'(

Ya, my PX3 on other systems is fine too, that's one of the reasons I'm asking.

Prevx2 should still be able to scan properly, it could just be that the files you have are currently unknown to the database. If you want, try installing Prevx 3.0 and save a scan log and send that to report@prevxresearch.com and we'll be able to mark them as trusted from there :)

That's Interesting: the PX3 scan report does not show either:
    "VMWare.exe"
    or
    "VMWare-Unity-Helper.exe"
    or
    VMWare.VMX.exe
    AFAICS

Have sent scan log of PX3 and File names as detected above
    Regards

Could you please try running VMWare while Prevx is installed and then run another scan? I suspect that will get the additional files included. There are a few of those from one of your snapshots but I suspect they aren't all being scanned.

However, I've confirmed that Prevx 2 is still actively communicating with the database without a problem so you can safely ignore the warning or override them manually :)

    All clear now in PX2
Cool :D all for me ?? :D or are there some other 'slow-uptakers' out there :shifty:

OOI: The new PX3 log does not show VMWare-Unity-Helper: ??
Prolly not actually running when not in unity mode??
