Using evaluation copy of Port Explorer, and I like what I see so far. I got this proxy.exe in red and googled it, and came back as a bad guy. I killed it's process, and could not connect to websites. So, the little bit I know of computers leads me to believe that this is needed, but why red though?

I ran a virus scan AVG Pro, and ewido anti-malware and both came back clean. Would someone tell me if this is ok, and if it's not, please give me step by step instructions on how to fix this as I'm still in the novice stage.

    Thank you ahead of time.

    Hi there,
Red means "hidden" process, or one without a systray icon.
So red does not always mean a bad process, always need to investigate.
