    Is Protowall a good program?

Its in beta version now but its seems like it will become a great program.

Dunno. Do you think there will be new features that will be an advantage for evreyone?

    or its just another program.

Do you think its better than Peergurdian at the moment?

i prefer PeerGuardian because it does not use drivers and its less buggy. installing Protowall on any comp lacking ethernet is near impossible and its settings dont exactly save.

with PG, i can even use bluetack's lists.

strange..cuse i have np with protowall for over 2years...not buggy at all...yup the driver is a pain in the *** just reinstall via ur network adapter

u can use bluetack's blocklist manager to convert blocklist to all formats(peerguardian, protowall, emule etc..)

    its great :)

when i first tried protowall, i had no network adapter and thus couldnt install.
and about the buggy comment, it was just an exaggeration. its very unconvenient that protowall cannot save its settings :cautious:

Yes I have the right adapter chosen. But never mind, I played around with the settings and got it working. I dont know what it was what I did :/
I think it was when I enabled the option "Automatically start filtering when loaded" I thought it would start filtering by default :)
Thanks for your reply though, it made me dig deeper into the program :)

let me guess, protowall uses a device driver and PG uses a kernel driver or something like that. well thx for the correction.
