    Re: Protection startup

I am a new user of SpyWareBlaster, I am using Windows XP home edition supplemented with SP2. I have downloaded and installed SpyWareBlaster, and when I run AdAware after being out on the internet it finds four critical objects. When I run AdAware the next morning before getting out on the internet it finds almost two hundred critical objects. What do I need to do to keep from being populated by spyware?

Hi figpucker, and welcome to Wilders.

Without knowing what other security programs you have, example a firewall, antivirus, anti-trojan, etc., it is difficult to guess why you are still getting infected.

You could read through this thread to help tighten your security:
Why did I get infected in the first place?

If you would like to give us more information about what kind of "critical objects" are being detected by AdAware, that would help.

    Regards,

    snap
