I use the open WiFi at Starbucks when I'm on the road to retrieve email and I'm looking at VPN services. Has anyone used Comodo's "Trust Connect" or similar services and have any recommendations?

If your ISP supports it, simplest way is to use SSL email, so that the mail link is encrypted between your email client and the ISP email server. Or encrypted webmail links. Gmail also supports SSL for pop3/smtp mail as well as webmail. I had problems with Trust Connect interfering with other settings, but that was when it was a free beta.
