    Hi:

Can users of Process Guard Free advise if the review at the download site is true...ie: Process guard free limited to 50 intrusions.

“Hard to say what the pros might be as only 5 minutes into surfing a message came up saying this will only protect against 50 intrusions, and to cough up the money if i want unlimited protections “

    Cheers,

Unless the policy has changed since May the only difference was the extra protection boxes (Protect Physical Memory, etc.) were not available with the free version.

That is just something thay pops up ever so often in the free version, even if you close the box it will take you to it's home page. Just close the page and keep surfing

Thanks iceni60 , and G1111, most appreciated for that clarification.

Being new to IDS / IPS I want to use WinPatrol and PGfree for a while just to get my head around these.

    Cheers,

    Thanks bigc73542.
It's a little off putting to know I'll be dragged off to a website...so I'll think a little more about using PGfree.
    cheers,

It happens very infrequently, and it is worth the inconvenience of the five seconds it takes to close the page. You could just block it's internet access with your firewall. ;)
