Hi, I have the following config:

    1 SATA-HDD with newly installed Win2K

1 IDE-HDD with old (but working) installation of Win2K

Unfortunately, OS Selector does NOT let me boot both Windowses.
I dunno why it can't work to just install OS Selector on the SATA HDD and boot the IDE "version" anyway via OS Selector GUI.

Setting active/inactive already tried, no effect.
Using ADD Suite 9.0 (build 549).

OK, forget it, sorted it out!

You must edit boot.ini BY HAND!
Best you do this using disk + partition numbers shown with Disk Director, as you are VERY LIKELY to make serious mistakes with boot.ini, making your system inoperable!

Having to edit boot.ini by hand is very sad for a software which claims to detect installed operating systems when you install the boot manager. It rather only seems to read out the boot.ini, and if there is only ONE entry (as I had to PHYSICALLY disconnect my IDE drive first because ****ing Micro$oft installer of Win2K would always set/show old IDE partition as C: and never let me install the OS as C: on the new drive -- gaaah!), OS selector would not be so intelligent, rescan the stuff and look for another working installation on the setup.

Well. At least it works now. :isay:
