I have to restore my image from windows it is not possible to enter,
then start from the boot cd acronis, but after having loaded the logo
it doesn't load anything: screened black. I have tried to create the boot on floppy but I have the same identical problem.
How can I do? I am desperate :'(

Try unplugging any usb devices such as media reader and see if that helps..
That's the only way I can get the boot cd to load..

    Hello iruam_1609,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Please accept our apologies for your inconvenience.

Are you sure that you use the latest build of the product? Have you tried the "acpi=off noapic" workaround? Please read the following thread: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317 and follow the instructions. If nothing helps please contact support@acronis.com and give a reference to this thread. You can also send me a private message.

    Thank you.

Andrew thanks really for the help. :D Yes, use the last version of true image.

Following this indication: "Please boot your computer from the Acronis True Image rescue disc (the full version) and press F11 key when the "Starting Acronis Loader..." message appears. After you get the "Linux kernel command line" prompt, please modify it in the following way:

    quiet acpi=off noapic

and click on the OK button."

all has perfectly worked. I am very happy. thanks so much! :)

P.S. How this procedure I can make automatic, do I have to send you a private message?

    Regards,
    iruam
