I am using Acronis True Image version 8.0 build 771. My PC runs under ME.

    1. Created image of C:/System Disk on another Hard Drive on my PC.

    2. For security copied TIB backup file on to a DVD using Pinacle Instant DVD.

    3. Used Acronis to Check Image on DVD – Image OK.

Bottom line is I can restore the ATI Image file on my Hard Disk under both
ME/or ATI System disk. Of course problem with this is the C: system disk
cannot be restored if required since it is in use.

ATI Image file on DVD can be restored from ATI when booting with ME. Also
DVD Image file can be verified from within ME. Again cannot restore C: drive because it is in use.

However when try using DVD Image file booting with ATI system disk fails
    with

"This is not the last created volume of the image archive. Please
insert the last created volume to start working with this archive".

Since the same file can be restored using ATI from within ME it would strongly imply the problem lies with the reading of the DVD file when booting with ATI system disk.

I have tried both Formatting the DVDs using PINNACLE and not formatting. Both give the same result.

    Any ideas??

    Hello JANEKS,

First of all, please download and install the latest build, which is available on our web site at http://www.acronis.com/support/updates/. To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.

Then please create a new bootable rescue CD and if the problem persists please send a message to support@acronis.com.

    Thank you.
