I have a portable Toshiba M45-S35, with a hard disk of 100 Go partitions in three hard disks. When I create an image of safeguard with Acronis True Image Sever for Windows build 826 in another partition, and that I check it, all is normal. When I want to restore the image, after the restarting of the portable, nothing occurs after the indication “Start Acronis Loader”.

    Hello Dodo,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

Could you please try the "acpi=off noapic" workaround as described at Acronis Help Post? If the problem persists please boot your computer from the Acronis True Image rescue disc and press F11 key when the "Starting Acronis Loader..." message appears. After you get the "Linux Kernel Settings" prompt, please remove the "quiet" word, click on the "OK" button and wait for # prompt to appear. Please insert a diskette into a floppy disk drive and issue the following commands:

    cd tmp
    mkdir mntdir
    mount /devfs/floppy/0 mntdir
    sysinfo > mntdir/sysinfo.txt
    umount mntdir

Send the sysinfo.txt file from the diskette to support@acronis.com along with the description of the problem and the link to this thread. This will allow us to investigate your problem.

    Thank you.
