I would like to use SPF Free but also like to use the Proxomitron, if I disable the Proxomitron but tighten my IE controls will I protect my privacy just the same. I know about the bypass problem that SPF has with Proxomitron but I am also sick of all the apps running in the name of protection. Thanks
It depends on what type of protecting you want. I think tyightening up IE security is fine and great but you get more protection with Proxo than IE. Like for 1 IE don't block so called web bugs but there's filters that will block them with proxo. Proxo can spoof you OS and browser on some web pages (so they say). Proxo can block tracking links but IE can't. the list goes on and on. But it's a matter of prefrence.
