Cool! If you have the Beta still installed from 3.0.1.65 click on Check for Updates!

Numerous details coming - .182 is not the final release candidate just yet :) We have one minor change to make which will enable the updater to get from RC to RC but once we have that, I'll post download links for anyone currently not on the beta :)

    Hi all :)

Got the new RC version 3.0.4.182. Configured Web Browser Security but ALL the options couldn't be ticked...
Pros : It is integrated in Opera .This is very new for a security software ;-)
Cons : Can't use my registry cleaners any more (Ace Utilities or RegMechanic for example). Site loading in FF or IE or Opera has become slower.
That's what i have noticed so far.

    Cheers,
    Herve

There should be no impact on browsing speed - our interception happens outside of the normal chain of website loading so we don't drag down any aspect of browsing.

Blocking cookie cleaners, however, is a known issue (we protect cookies to prevent them from being stolen by malware which indirectly may block cookie cleanup tools).

    Thank you for the feedback!

Could you let me know what version of Opera you're using? They had an update within the last couple days which may have broken some areas of our compatibility with it :doubt:

Ah yes, I believe that Opera v10 is going to cause problems temporarily. Pre-v10 seems to work fine (I use Opera v9.64 build 10487 here without problems + Prevx).

I'll be creating a "Known Issues" thread shortly and will add this - thanks for the information :)

There seems to be an incompatibility with Sandboxie. I am unable to open Firefox or IE sandboxed after installing the lastest beta, however, after uninstalling Prevx the problem is eliminated.

Sandboxie 3.39.12, xp sp3, online armor running in a virtual machine.

    Hello all,
I've created a new thread - https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=252662 which now has the link to the default download. I'll close this one for now: if you could post your feedback in the .183 thread, that would be greatly appreciated!

I have updated the first post of that thread with details on the current known issues and will continue to keep that post updated if more things are found :)
