Preparing to upgrade from 4.0 to AVG 7.5

Before I start the upgrade to AVG 7.5, I'd like to store temporary
my licence code in a txt file. So I don't need to
search for it in my papers stack as soon as AVG 7.5 is installed.
In didn't manage to find that code in registry and Ewido app.
Where can be it found ?

Is there any way to store temporary the Ewido spyware signatures,
so I can load it from disk as soon as AVG 7.5 is installed. I'd like to avoid
loading the spyware definition from Ewido server once again
after upgrade process has been finished.

 

If you have lost your code, then install AVG 7.5 ontop of the existing ewido installation, but shutdown 4.0 first from the tray-icon.......or contact support.

 

You don't need to uninstall ewido 4.0... The setup of AVG Anti-Spyware will ask you if it should do it for you. This way, almost all your existing settings (including license number) will be kept. It will also copy all reports and quarantine items

 

It goes well and without a hitch in my case.
