Macecraft Software has launched PowerTools Lite 2011, a freeware version of their professional grade jv16 PowerTools 2011 utility package, to help all Windows PC users easily yet effectively to fix Windows registry errors and delete unneeded data.

Based on the jv16 PowerTools 2011 utility suite, PowerTools Lite enables even the least technically skilled of PC owners to benefit from a safe system and registry cleanup. PowerTools Lite also clears unnecessary data from the registry, MRU and history data from all major applications and Windows itself, along with deleting any unnecessary temporary files to clean up the entire PC.

Furthermore, released under license as freeware, home and commercial PC users alike can benefit from PowerTools Lite without having to pay for the application - allowing a saving on other comparable registry repair applications and the cost of professional IT support.

PowerTools Lite 2011 comes in English, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Slovak and Swedish as a built-in feature of the application, and is available for download immediately:

PowerTools Lite 2011 cannot be installed over any previous version of PowerTools Lite. The product is fully compatible with Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7, both 32 bit and 64 bit systems. In 64 bit systems the product will scan the entire registry, including the 64 bit view.

didn't they have a similar freeware version last year? or maybe it was two years ago? That may possibly only been a registry cleaner though.

It's hard to find the answer to that question on the Macecraft site.
(Or maybe I grew weary of searching) :)
I'm thinking, with their 60-day trial, I may have to go with the full version.
I seriously need to upgrade the current one I'm running...

I tried it the other day & felt that it was no better than my usual RegSeeker !

On aggressive mode it made LOTS of FP's, maybe to be expected, but still :p

Ya, I read it previous, but after the installation, it says to me " trial version ". And the link of the license open a text file: I tried copying it in a text file on my pc, but it doesn't work.

All I can say it's working for me with no problem. Matter of fact you don't even have to download license and you will get the same result

Thanks lws: may be my Sunday meal was too heavy :D : I didn't read this: " If you can't download the file properly (i.e. it opens up like a text file for you as opposed to downloading) right-click on the download link -> "Save Target As..."/"Save Link As..." to download it. " Now it works. :thumb:

Good to hear. Had me worried for a bit as I don't want to see anyone downloading or installing anything that is detrimental to their system at my suggestion of a download. I would suggest only if it works on my system with no problems. Glad it works for you now. :thumb:

Definitely not interested in just a registry cleaner. Thankfully, this is more than that.

It couldn't have been too bad as your still here.;) :D Still good to hear from someone whose actually run it as opposed to simply having it on their system.
