post card virus

    anyone hear anything on this as a threat?

    Well... its a bit of a vauge term that can be applied to pretty much any virus.

    The only qualification it needs is that the victim gets an email informing them that they have an ecard/postcard waiting and they need to *click* to get it. Storm/zhelatin used this tactic quite effectively to build up it's botnet with targetted campaigns around Christmas, new years and valentines etc but I get similar emails in my honeypot all the time:
