Portuguese Mistake

Hello everyone,

I want to report a Portuguese mistake in Nod32. The message that Nod32 attaches to e-mails says:

__________ Informação do ESET NOD32 Antivirus, versão da vacina 3645 (20081127) __________

A mensagem foi verificada pelo ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

Mensagem de email - esta OK
Mensagem de email - esta OK

http://www.eset.com

Esta should be está. Esta means "this", Está means "is".

Accented characters are not supported. If there are any, they are converted so that the tag message can be displayed properly.

Just curious... is ESET NOD32 an acronym? If so, what does it stand for? I am just curious about the name, the history behind it.

ESET is the company name; as for NOD - Wikipedia has some funny explanation which may be true or not, probably someone who's been working for ESET for very long could verify this.

 

Thanks for the link. I checked it out...it does have a funny explanantion. I would love to know if it is true and not true. I am just curious... if anyone with could verify this I would appreciate it... not that it is a high priority... I just like knowing things like this.
