we want to control all our true image products at the customers with the management console, but the machines are running behind a firewall, what is the portnumber on which the agent is running? So we can make a mapping to the machine.

    thanx

Irina - in case you didn't know, IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) tries to assign unique port numbers to various products and protocols. Acronis's choice of 9876 (no prize for guessing how the programmer came up with that number) conflics with already assigned port numbers:

    Code:
    # 9803-9874 Unassigned
    sapv1 9875/tcp Session Announcement v1
    sapv1 9875/udp Session Announcement v1
    # RFC 2974 <ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc2974.txt>
    sd 9876/tcp Session Director
    sd 9876/udp Session Director
    # Van Jacobson <van@ee.lbl.gov>
    cyborg-systems	9888/tcp CYBORG Systems
    cyborg-systems	9888/udp CYBORG Systems
    # Malcolm Graham <Malcolm_Graham@CYBORG.COM>
    monkeycom	9898/tcp MonkeyCom
    monkeycom 9898/udp MonkeyCom
    # Yuji Kuwabara <HHG01200@niftyserve.or.jp>
    sctp-tunneling 9899/tcp SCTP TUNNELING
    sctp-tunneling 9899/udp SCTP TUNNELING
    iua 9900/tcp IUA
    iua 9900/udp IUA
    iua 9900/sctp IUA
    # Lyndon Ong <Lyong@ciena.com>
    # 9901-9908 Unassigned
While it is not likely to present a real problem, I suggest that you get in contact with IANA about getting your own set of ports for True Image.
