I have a problem with firewall rules in a policy tree.

    For example:
    Masterpolicy
    Childpolicy

In Childpolicy there are no firewall rules defined.
In Masterpolicy I define firewall rules and so they are used in Childpolicy too.
Then I add firewall rules in Childpolicy.
When I now change or add firewall rules in Masterpolicy these changes don't affect the Childpolicy.

Isn't it possible to add firewall rules in a childpolicy so that all later changes in the Masterpolicy affect Childpolicy too?

    Kinde regards
    Peter

That sounds very much like by design behaviour, in other software too, of one way flow from master downward. Unless I misunderstood and actually master policy does not update child policy because there is change in the child policy (not done via master policy)

Yes, Masterpolicy doesn't update Childpolicy, because there is a change.

    Is there any solution?
