    I was purchasing "paint shop pro version 8" when I came across an advertisement for a program called "Photo To Sketch". After buying paint shop pro. I decided to download "photo to sketch". You simply open photo to sketch and put any pic into it. Then hit convert, and you have a sketch of the pic. It's very simple to use. You can download it free, and try it for 15 pics.

    After that you must purchase it if you like it. It's $18.00. If you would like to have sketchart of your pics...this is a good simple program. You can learn more about it here. http://www.thinkershome.com/

    Here is a simple sketch it did. From a pic I put into it.

    Hey Mr2cents,
    You might be able to save yourself $18, because PSP has filters which will do this anyway....

    BTW, I'm using PSP9...and PSPX has just been released in the last couple of weeks.....so version 8 is getting a little long in the tooth. You can still grab PSP7 for free;
    link here

    Anyway with PSP9;
    Here's a pic..

    Apply the filter..

    There are tons of filter effects in PSP, and then hundreds of free plugin filters if you can't find the one you want.

    Lots of good stuff and links/plugins etc in Uguel's thread here

    Cheers,
    Brad

    Hey bigbuck. Thanks for the link.I downloaded "psp7". It's running great. I have an older computer. WindowsMe, with only 192 mb of ramm. So, the only versions I can run are 7 or 8. I don't believe version 9 or 10 is compatible with windowsMe. Even if it was. I just don't have the memory to run them.

    I searched for version 7 on the web before I purchased version 8. I couldn't find a place to download it anywhere. Again thanks for the link bigbuck. I guess your wondering if I bought the "photo to sketch" also.

    Guilty as charged. :rolleyes: I purchased it before I made this thread. I didn't know "paintshop" would do sketches. I have a lot to learn. :cool:
