    Hi,

I have used NOD32 2.x for a long time, and really liked how much you can customize it.

Now I just got a new computer and decided to try NOD32 3.0 instead. It sure looks more fancy, but I have a problem disabling scanners I don't need. In 2.x you could easily enable/disable AMON, IMON, EMON, DMON.

But how do you do it in 3.0? Because if I disable mail or http scanner, it's automatically re-enabled opon reboot :doubt:

I just hate having a bunch of extra scanner running that I don't need... For instance I only use webmail on this computer, so POP/IMAP scanning is useless. I also never ever use Outlook.

It won't make any difference in performance or memory consumption if you have the modules disabled or enabled. Excluding applications from HTTP/POP3 scanning would have the same effect as disabling the modules.

    Thank you.

But I still think there should be a way to disable mail and/or http-scanner.

Personally I prefer running with on-access scanner only. This was easy to fix in NOD32 2.x.
