    This seems to be a common trend amongst security companies now,to offer registry and disk cleaning utilities with their suites.
    Considering the inconsistencies and dangerous nature of registry cleaners in general,norton and other companies are walking on thin ice.

    What I meant was the pre-windows age. Norton Utilities version 1.0 (1982). :)

    I agree with that. Still, I'd say it's obvious that they're just trying to cash in where the money is. People have been paying for these products for years...

    PCTools products were only so-so.
    The free FireWall was a good product but very buggy.

    I'm sorry to see it go but no great loss.

    It was just a matter of time. Given their lack of interest in developing PCTools line up in the last few years. :ninja:
