    :D Right On !!

Although I have had some problems with CounterSpy & also received poor advice from one of their techs, I still support the program !! You might want to read my earlier post today in the " which antispyware program do you prefer ? " thread.

For myself, presently, I have found SpySweeper to be a more consistent program. However, I will not condemn CounterSpy either.

....and MSAS "was able to detect 91 percent of the adware/spyware in our test suite"....which means....Windows AntiSpyware Looks Like a Winner

:) Sounds good Bubba, but since I have the registered version of Giant right now, I have been advised NOT to try the Microsoft Beta Program. :(

I think that it would be nice if we can see what spyware each program detects...

Whoever wrote that article is an asshat. SS 3.5 has been out for several months... why did they use 3.2? I like the tweakability of SS better than MSAS, though both do a good job.

Counterspy is a good detector, but after using it and trying to delete it it leaves
alot of junk files on your computer and does not completly uninstall. also counterspy kept hanging checking for automatic updates which I hated.

Im a Proud user of spysweeper which IMHO is one heck of good program that seems to be catching all the baddies. Licensed user.

And when you consider the fact that Spy Sweeper has been adding new spyware fingerprints at a rate of 335 per DAY since 22-Dec-04, it's hard to beat!

I am a registered user of spy sweeper (counterSpy too). Both r good programmes, but the spy sweepers needs double resources. When Spysweeper sweep my pc, is the time to go for a walk outside:)
