PC Tools - interesting

    Hmm, let's see what happens moving forward. At this stage, they are just better off just migrating users to the Norton brand IMO. Will help avoid a lot of FUD.

    My ISP offers PC Tools for free to customers. I really hope they switch from Symantec to a different partner.
    I never really liked the name 'PC Tools' nor the GUI in their products. I loved Threatfire and Sygate when I first got into computer stuff. Sygate was gone long time ago, and it's technology was included right away into Norton products. Threatfire was left as stand-alone but it's technology was also included into PC Tools and Norton products aswell.

    I think PC Tools will be left as a low-cost consumer solutions branch for their Performance Products line.

    I hope they move the Spyware Doctor + AV line into the Norton AV product then release Spyware Doctor as a free edition.
