partition crack after install, could anyone help?

hardware:HP presario V3000
software:windows XP sp3

after install Returnil Virtual System Personal Edition v2.0 and restart, partition cracked, partition D became smaller and unformated.

disk:
before: C(9G)+ D(65G)
after:C(9G,ok) + 4.54G freespace +D(61G,unformated)
(by partition manager of windows)

install option:
memory cache or file cache? <file cache>
create virtual partition? <skip>

so all my data in disk d lost and I can only connect here with a simply windows, could anyone say something helpful?
