I'm installing an SSD into my desktop PC and am planning to reinstall windows 7 from scratch. My question is: Once I've installed Windows and have it configured with a number of installed apps just as I want it, can I then create a P2V copy which I can then use to restore to the SSD boot drive if I decide to wipe the copy of Windows already installed on the SSD? I'd like to save myself having to reinstall a number of apps whenever I decide to reinstall Windows, so ideally it'd be possible to restore a P2V copy to a physical boot disk. Is the above possible?
