    is this a good antivirus for a older cpu

    brave, i would recommend ewido..... really low system resource and a great resident shield and on demand scanner

    but ewido is not a virus scanner

    bigc is right. Ewido is an anti-trojan suite, not an anti-virus.

    Panda is medium to a little heavy on resources. It is a full security suite with very good ratings from AV Comparatives.

    For an older CPU, most here would recommend:
    NOD32
    F-Prot or Command AV
    Dr. Web

    ewido doesnt just block trojans it blocks highjackers, spyware, worms, dialers, and keylogers too

    i am useing panda now . i have used many others inc avg avast etrust promotional . kav ,extendia etc and since useing panda my computer has never been faster.
