Hi, bit of a newbie, so please be patient.

I have Panda, antivirus, and each time I scan, it finds one infected file, but I get the following message:

Could not clean the file, so re-named the file. etc.etc.

It does not tell me which file is infected, so I cant use a work-around to get rid of it.

My PC is running crap, at the moment. Takes ages to open any progs.etc.

Anyone have an idea what I can do, please.

    Hello,

I don't use Panda but i find it strange that the infected file is not displayed.

U could post a HijackThis log over at this site,

    http://gladiator-antivirus.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10517

for analysis by the experts there and if any malware is found they will give u recommendations on removal.

id try running a online scanner from Kaspersky or BitDefender to see if they can find the file and remove it.

also does Panda keep logs? perhaps the file name and location is written there.

correct, look at the log, it is set by date so you should be able to find it.
