Hi, is there a way to view what's inside the pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys on Windows 7 64bit? Just curious to see what it looks like. Anybody who tried viewing it once? regards, anouk
Boot a Linux Live CD and use an available text/hex viewer. Pagefile is just a binary file, nothing special about it.
Hello, PrvaZer is able to scan Pagefile.sys content and Hiberfil.sys content on NTFS. In the scan list, just select Memory, then Options and check Hiberfil.sys and Pagefile.sys. During the scan you will have a view of the content of a sample of sectors occupied by Pagefile.sys and Hiberfil.sys. Download it here : http://www.privazer.com Regards
