Outpost 6.51 and default deny

  1. Two questions about Outpost:

    1. Now that I've got rules for all the applications I regularly use, is there a way to make Outpost's HIPS stop asking me questions and just deny everything not on its list?

    2. Failing that, can I at least make the "Deny" rather than "Allow" button be selected by default? If I get a popup and hit return, I want it to deny rather than allow.

Edit: Never mind, answered my own question... There seems to be no way of doing this. Sorry mods.

    Right click Outpost icon.
Set the policy to Deny MOST. That will deny everything not permitted in your rules.
On the other hand, I'm not sure it works the same for the HIPS section. It definitely does for the firewall section.

  3. It doesn't work for the HIPS. Unknown programs still launch.
