OSS selector and Vista

    Im trying to troubleshoot a problem.. and can only think that somehow OSS is causing it... I can install and use Vista fine, but when I reactivate OSS for my dual boot XP/Vista.. I start getting corrupt disk errors on Vista...

    I know Vista is not officially supported.. but as OSS is just a boot manager, is it likely that it could be the cause of the problems?

    A standard Vista install take over the boot sector (MS assume no one in their right mind would want anything other than a MS OS). So OSS as yet isn't able to cope.

    There is a post here somewhere, where someone was able to make a workaround - you'll just have to make a search for Vista - in this forum I'm afraid.

    It does actually function ok. but it obviously has an advers effect on the bista partition.... thanks for your help!
