Disabled antivirus. Migration appeared to work. Checked BIOS settings. Attempted to boot. Got following error

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the problem.

I don't think my computer is using UEFI. No references to EFI in the BIOS screen and no references to EFI in the results of the msinfo command.

Intel Core i7-870 processor, 4g RAM, Gigabyte motherboard (have no idea of the model). I'm using the OS to SSD Migration software.

Did you try to repair? If so, what happened?

At this point, I've given up on the software. During a careful reading (several hours) of topics on the forum, it is clear that others have had a similar problem with no resolution. I purchased this software to simplify the process and save time related to migrating my OS to and SSD. I've already spent far more time and frustration with this software than a fresh install of Windows would have taken. I've sent in a support request for a refund of the purchase price.

    Thank you

If you require a return of the software and it is within the 30 days of purchase, please PM me and I will give you the information you require to expedite the process.
