    hi

    have two primary partitions:
    - first one has a standard win installation
    - the second contains a copy of win partition
and is used as a backup and thus HIDDEN...

can os selector of DD 10 automatically hide/unhide PRIMARY partitions
if i choose to boot from another one ?
(so that drive letters won't be messed up)

(os selector of DD 9 couldn't do this,
so i had to use grub... works nice
but is a bit shitty if sth needs to be changed)

    thx for Your quick answer

    (just to avoid any misunderstanding:
i don't try to hide an OS in the boot menu,
i want to set the partition-type flag to 'hidden'
so that windows (not win2000) cannot see/access)
    this particular primary partition...)

from page 88 of the pdf:
"Acronis OS Selector allows you to hide hard disk partitions (except for the system) ..."

so if i get this right it CAN NOT hide an active, primary partition, which ...
    a) makes it (os selector) unsuable for this task (as it was with DD 9)
    b) makes not really sense, cause hiding the active partition
    is a totally non-destructive operation and can/could
easily be reverted with the rescue cd...

hope this restriction will be removed
in a later build (not version)
...of course i wouldn't complain about a severe warning,
if this option is to be activated by the user

    thx (again)
