OpenVPN startup desktop shortcut.

    Hi

    I have been trying to get a desktop shortcut to connect to the OpenVPN config file. Instead it opens the text version!

    I have tried to link to the GUI.exe file but in that case it opens the application but doesn't open the conf file,

    Please can someone help with this. Is there a software app to start OpenVPN from a desktop shortcut and even perhaps to flush the dns cache too as part of the same command?

    Right click on an OpenVPN configuration file (.ovpn) and select "Start OpenVPN on this configuration file" . Once running, you can use the F4key to exit.
