    Hi,

I'm using Vista x64 with NOD32 v2.7 and for some reason, the On-Demand scanner window takes 2+ minutes to show up on the screen, although I can see the process running. Is there any particular reason why this happens (not a problem with the computer - Q9550, 8GB RAM, etc...)?

Also, is there any way to make NOD32 v3.0 look like v2.7? I absolutely hate the skin in the 3rd one, v2.7 just looks great compared to v3.0 in my opinion.

Thank you in advance for any help!

    Hello Sanek,

No. What profile settings are being used?

There is no way to personalize skins or make it look like v2.7.

    Thank you,
    Richard

When I click the "Run NOD32" button in NOD32 Thread Protection module, the On-Demand scanner window that opens (after about 2 minutes) is using the "Control Center Profile" profile.

Under the Scanning targets tab, only the "Local" checkbox is checked.

Under the Setup tab, the following checkboxes are checked:
    - Files
    - Boot sectors
    - System memory
    - Sound Alert
    - Use MAPI interface
    - Enable Anti-Stealth technology
    - Virus signatures
    - Heuristics
    - Adware/Spyware/Riskware

Under the Profiles tab, the following checkboxes are checked:
    - Use this profile when launching NOD32 from the Control Center
    * NOD32

    Have you tried v3.0 yet?

I tried it before, but not on this computer. I always liked the looks of NOD32 v2.7 and file system monitor seems to work just fine, its just the on-demand scanner that takes a bit too long to start up.

I don't use it that much overall, so its not a huge problem - just an annoyance.
