[Ollydbg] rtrace.exe is a False Positive

    I cannot download the test program rtrace.exe from this page
    h**p://www.ollydbg.de/Tut_rtr.htm

    Go to the end of the page and the link
    h**p://www.ollydbg.de/tut_rtr.zip
    leads to an IMON page that tells me

    22/12/2009 13.25.47 IMON archive -http://www.ollydbg.de/tut_rtr.zip- probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus Connection terminated MYCOMPUTER\*********

    Could you make something to check this file and tell me why it is reported as a virus?

    SInce it's just a sample with no real use, temporarily disable IMON, download the file, extract it to the disk and add it to the exclusion list.
