Tried a scan (ok) but no change on the SafeOnline front.
I have moved house since I purchased (03/07/09) PrevX though.
So the address from Cleverbridge would be good for credit card but not match your records?

    Have PM'd key anyway

Yes, but not worth much if you only have a few days left on your license :cautious:

Hey Joe, haven't spoken in while, no problems. ;) Using the same new 53 install file on two different computers as I am a 2 machine license holder, have conflicting statements when opening up the tray icon. On the laptop it says SafeOnline, but on the desktop it says 3.0Released Candidate. What's up w/this?

You were a beta tester so you don't have to pay for SafeOnline :) Send me a PM with your license key and I'll tack it on if something didn't flag it properly in the upgrade - when you renew, just renew the antimalware components and I'll add the SafeOnline flag back in if it isn't added on automatically.

I just did a restart & Vista32Bit showed a new device driver had been loaded.
But no change otherwise to SafeOnline

We essentially have two products which are built off of the same code: SafeOnline and Prevx 3.0 as separate downloads. Both have identical functionality but just a different background image/skin on them which is where the separation may come for you. You can get the SafeOnline GUI from http://info.prevx.com/downloadsafeonline.asp if you want :) (you may need to uninstall/reinstall on your desktop PC as the version number will be the same still)

It looks like it is an issue on our end which may be related to your non-English keyboard. We're still investigating it, however, but will hopefully have a fix in the next update.

Thanks for the site Joseph and the advice of a uninstall/reinstall. Worked just like you said, only had to do another configuration on the websites. Guess if I'd left it alone would have updated to SO GUI by itself.

Ok. Thanks. No problem. Just wanted to know what ist going on.
I am not sure whether it could be a problem with sandboxie's presence on the system?
The sandbox is not in use at the moment but it is installed.

Do a fresh install and reboot! I think that is best.

Hi Joe some problem with new stable version downloaded from your site

Italian peple say that using new 3.0.5 with CCleaner or Glary Utilities, the cleanig process stop deleting IE8 cookies, no way to solve the issue, only stopping CCleaner or Glary via taskmanager.
Even with SafeOnline disabled same problem
Uninstalling Prevx 3.0.5 everithig goes well

I can't tryin the issue on Final 3.0.5 cause I have RC on my pc, RC seems works well with CCleaner deleting IE8 Cookies

    Thanks

The issue isn't related to Sandboxie - we've reproduced it and will have a fix in the next update (not 3.0.5.4 which has just come out but one of the next ones :))

You can just download + run the new version - it will automatically update your installed copy :)

I suspect this is an issue with your license key - could you please send me a PM with your license key so I can see what may be wrong? You may want to try pasting it into the license screen once again and click Activate to see if that clears it up, if not, I should be able to tell from checking your key :)

Re: OFFICIAL RELEASE - Prevx 3.0.5.3 with SafeOnline

Could you let me know what build of the RC you're using? v3.0.5.3 in the RC or live version is exactly the same so the behavior should be identical. Also, could you let me know what OS they're using to see if it is something specifically wrong on a certain OS?

Also, could you have them try right clicking on the tray icon and selecting Stop Protection? This behaves slightly differently to stopping the rest of the protection which may let it function properly. Prevx prevents outside programs from reading/modifying/stealing data from cookies, which is where I suppose this issue is coming from.

Let me know your results! :)

    Hello all,
We've released a minor update to Prevx 3.0.5.4 which has the following changes:

    - Added SafeOnline into the license accepted popup
    - Added SafeOnline into the License Information page
    - Changed the front text of SafeOnline to describe the type of license installed
    - Fixed a minor stability issue
    - Fixed MBR rootkit scanning compatibility with some x64 RAID servers
    - Fixed an issue with SafeOnline-configured scans opening Explorer windows after they've completed

Thank you all for the testing and support - please let me know if you come across any issues!
