The DriveSentry website shows 3,116,083 files in their database.
Does anyone know how many Prevx has?

A plain "x" files count isn't a very accurate way to define the size of a database. For example, we have some signatures which have caught 300,000+ different infections with just a single signature.

Our database contains whitelisting and blacklisting, and I'm not sure of the breakdown exactly but I believe it's somewhere in the hundreds of millions to billions (granted, there is much more good software than bad software out there :))

Database Numbers doesn't mean to much when you have Advanced Behaviour Monitoring and Advanced Heuristics Which Prevx Edge has!

The Prevx Support is excellent here and also if you go to there website!

Also here is a short list of Malware http://www.prevx.com/malwarecenter.asp

Might be alright for some but that's just overkill for me. You could do well with just DefenseWall and some free antivirus like Avira Free.
