I've treaded water more than a few times during my years in TX, not to mention a flooded house. I've also been through droughts. I'll take the rain any day, although I know it's not pleasant so I hope it stops soon. Send some this way. My flowers are starting to wilt. :D

Concerning Golf weather, I prefer cold to hot. You can always put on another layer of clothes, but you can only take so much off.... :D

Well if I were Tiger, I might want to look into getting a new one. He has been struggling lately. What is your opinion on his caddie taking the onlooker's camera after he took a shot during Tiger's backswing? IMO he did the right thing.

If they don't want to take the chance of getting their picture taken they shouldn't allow cameras on the course. If a caddie tried to take my camera he would be pulling back a stub. ;)

I don't think the issue was with Tiger getting his picture taken. I think the problem was the sound of the camera was very disturbing during his backswing. Now it wouldn't make that much of a difference in my game, but I understand that sounds during a backswing can be districting.

The galleries have been getting much more vocal and rude these days.

Out of control in a lot of cases.

Agreed. But I always found it strange that silence was necessary in golf while in baseball there is all of this yelling while one is trying to hit a 100 MPH fastball being thrown at him.

Unfortunatly that is the price you pay when a sport gets more popular and starts to draw big crowds. It starts to draw spectators from different areas that the sports are sometimes very vocal. I really think that a lot of the background noise is caused by people that are not as used to the courtesy allowed the players as in golf as compaired to the sports they are used to watching. And then again there are a lot of inconsiderate people around also.

I guess we could allow the golfers to chew tobacco and spit. Depending on the gallery, they could aim where ever they please! :D

I'm surprised the spectator gave his/her camera up instead of walking away when he/she saw the caddie coming. He/she obviouly had no clue what he/she did wrong until it was taken away. How imbarasing.

Just creating a big cloud of smoke would be enough to keep me away!

You get more chances with the ball in baseball. In golf, one shot is it. No three strikes and you are out. If the crowd messes up your first strike, you can bear down and concentrate on the next swing.

I don't believe so. I don't think he smokes. If he does, I guess I would just have to endure the smoke. :)

When it comes to golf, you have to keep an open mind. I never liked golf until I learned how to enjoy the time between swings. Hence my favorite golf cart witih all the necessities...

Now I know better than that. There are some nice courses around central Tex. Although I must admit my favorite course was in Hawaii. Florida has some nice ones too. Never played any on the Left Coast, although I understand southern Cal has some nice ones too.

    What is your favorite course?
