Not able to increase the free space?

I get the following error:

Disk Director Suite was not able to increase the free space on the selected partition. The current size of the selected partition is the maximum possible.

This happened on a Windows 2000 Server that contained three raid arrays. All arrays were configured with about half of the disk space unallocated. The first array was a RAID1 array and I had no trouble creating a partition and then expanding the disk space to the full capacity. The second array was a RAID5 array and I had no trouble creating a partition and then expanding the disk space to the full capacity. The last array was a RAID10 array and I had no trouble creating a partition but got the above error when trying to expand the disk space. Any help is greatly appreciated.
