Hi there just wondering if NOD32 would be blocking the ports used to enable RealVNC to work. I have setup Port forwarding in the Modem router and allowed firewall (XP firewall) access for VNC yet I still can't access remote computer

    Thanks

You should post this in the NOD forum. Perhaps a moderator can move it.

nod32 is not a firewall, it should not be interfering. you have at remote computer a static ip, the router forwards vnc's port (default 5900) to that ip, and on remote computer set windows firewall to allow vnc to accept incoming connections?

Hi there, I have allowed VNC as an exception within the Windows XP firewall.
I will re-check some of the settings......

    Thanks Dean
