ESET made quiet a confussion with all these version numbers, even though program is technically the same.

I am useing version 2.50.25 Windows NT/2000/2003/XP 32bit and I have been having problems updating, for example: Time Module Event User
3/24/2006 18:41:43 PM Update Error connecting to server u2.eset.com.
I have it set to automatic, to correct this problem do I have to update to 2.51.20 Windows NT/2000/2003/XP 32/64-bit - standard o_O
    I am on XP home

Upgrading to 2.51.20 *could* solve some update problems, as it contains a fix for update problems through Cisco routers (ISP side) that very few people encountered.

Carver, we all have those errors. As long as NOD updates to the current version, nothing to worry about. NOD just shows ALL info (like locked files when doing a full scan) were as other AV's don not log this info :)
