We have 600+ workstations with ESET NOD32 antivirus installed. They downloaded updates from a server with NOD32 Server installed. That server has failed and cannot be brought online.

How can we redirect all those clients to a new server without updating all the workstations manually?

How is the clients connecting to the server? by IP or hostname?

For IP, you just need to make the new server with the same IP, og if its by hostname, you can try making a DNS Record with the old servers name, and pointing it to the new server.

Remember to make the required policies first!!

Interesting idea. Thank you. I'll try it.
