let me try to explain what im trying to get working.

    i got 6 pc's and i installed nod32 v3 on it.
i also got 1 server were nod32 lan update server 2.7 is installed.

now im trying to make te pc's update from the server but it doesnt go the way as i am doing now.
on the server i made a shared folder.
    C:\Data\nod32\nod_upd
the mirror is writing files in there.
so that looks alright? does is?

now on the pc i made a update server to \\192.168.1.10\data$\nod32\nod_upd
    but that wouldnt work.
it kept asking me for username/pw
now i read the articale about installing the remote admin and i thought i did wrong.
so i changed the update server to http://plone:8088
but then after some time i get the message Could not connect to server.

    What am i doing wrongo_O

1, mirrored update files for v2 and ESS/EAV are mutually incompatible

2, the default port for updating from a mirror via HTTP is 8081 for v2, for ESS/EAV it's different.
