    Hi, everyone.

I just installed NOD32 in my environment ( 1 File Server and 70 workstations). Now users complains that opening network files is very slow.

For example, some users have Excel worksheets that queries Ms Access database (both files are in the file server), and this task is performing slowly.

I have uncheked network files in AMON (Detection - Media - Network files) and now everything is normal.

    The questions are:
Do I really need to check this box?
If I unckeck this what would be the risks?

    Tks,

    Marco

I always do that with antivirus packages....the server has its own detection, and you don't need to "double up" the file sniffing. So...I always exclude network shares and mapped drives from clients real time protection.
